About Me

Who is this Beaming Brunette?

I’m a God-honoring woman. Wife to a stupendous, supportive husband, mother of two incredible, noisy boys and, obviously, a brunette. I spend most of my time singing all over the house, baking all kinds of healthy goodies in my kitchen, doing a myriad of DIY projects or watching an old film with either Judy Garland or Gene Kelly in it.

A few tidbits about me and the fam. My family has moved 5 times in 5 years! One of those times I was 8 months pregnant with my first son. One of the other times I was 5 months pregnant with my second son. I also took a 3 hour trip with my second son (who was 2 months old at the time) to visit a friend for her birthday…by myself! Don’t know if I’m crazy or not but I sure love going out of my way to do things for people.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah Quilici. (pronounced Quill-i-see) Through my little blog I want to help other moms on their life journeys because being a mom is hard! I come in contact with so many moms who tell me that they feel they don’t measure up. No mom, I repeat, no mom is perfect. We get so much further in life when we stop comparing ourselves to other moms and belittling those who do something different from us. Let’s help each other!

Here at The Beaming Brunette, I share my real experiences, best tips and advice to help make your job so much easier as a mom. Every post comes from the bottom of my heart to your screen to help you succeed as a mom. Everything I recommend I have tried myself and have found it to be very useful. And If I can be that one friend in your life that helps make your life a breeze than all my hard work here is paying off! The other part of my “why” is to eventually turn my blog into a business where I can work from home or from anywhere.

I’d like to use my blog to help pay off our debt so that we can more freely give to others. It is has always been a dream of mine to be a stay at home mom and I feel like this is the perfect tool to do just that!

Thanks for wanting to get to know me!
